And the floor is now complete.....

After a hectic February, the new limestone floor is now in place and has transformed the event space. Now we are looking forward to sharing it with all our 2018 Grooms and Brides

Coed Weddings Wedding Barn Ceremony Wales

And so it begins........

The flooring work has started at Coed and needs levelling before the limestone slabs and circular wooden dance floor can be laid...just 4 weeks before the first event of pressure 😊

New Flooring for the Big Barn!!!

All the monies that we raise at Coed Weddings are used to cover overheads and to invest back into our beautiful event space and to educate our guests and visitors on the benefits of self sufficiency, low impact and eco-friendly living...this includes everyday choices that we can all make which can have a huge impact of our environmental footprint...the monies we have raised in 2017 has enabled us to replace the flooring in the main event space so it gets a fresh new look for 2018......keep watching for updates :)

Look out for New Menus from Coed Catering as a new head chef joins the team

Due to a huge demand for our onsite catering team we have appointed a new head chef to take on all enquiries and will be producing new menus for 2018.....keep checking back for an exciting taster and entertainment night in early spring.........

Fred's Yurts come to Coed

As of 2018, we shall be welcoming the arrival of a semi-permanent Yurt village at Coed which will be able to accommodate additional guests during all events and Weddings at Coed. These yurts are beautiful in structure and add a bohemian feel to your event at Coed.

Fred's yurts are booked direct wth the owner and not part of the package that Coed currently offer as part of our onsite Wedding accommodation. Please get in touch with Fred for a quote based on the number of yurts you require for your special day

Love in the Hills at Coed

Hello lovely people… We have generously been given the awesome magical place that is Coed Hills for the weekend of the 29th -30th April, massive thanks to Rawley and Nan. This is a ticketed event and the proceeds will be split between Aid box community and We Care Bristol, both these charities support refugees and the homeless and have amazing hardworking teams of dedicated people doing fantastic work.

More details will be posted on the events page.

Tickets cost £40 per person, £10 for 3 - 14 year olds – for this you get to camp on site (vans welcome also), delicious evening meal will be a vegetarian Sri Lankan thali - cooked by the very talented, enthusiastic chef Jon Lewin & a big breakfast to sort out any hangovers!

There will be workshops for kids, the fab Sock Wrestling Crew, facepainting, henna tatoos, live acoustic music/jam, band (to be confirmed), comedy, glitter booth and makeup, DJ’s, tea and cakes, fabulous ship cocktail bar alongside usual bar, hula-hoop ,fire and pole performances and hopefully you will be able to book in for Aaron’s gong bath and/or healing massage.

If you feel like adding a bit of sparkle, then all things glittery is the fancy dress!

This is going to be a special weekend, shared with beautiful people in a beautiful space and a chance to show your support for all displaced people and be part of something so positive in these disturbing times.

Big thanks to everyone who has already jumped on board and volunteered their time and skills!

New life emerges at Coed Weddings

Our first Blog Entry for 2017!!

February 22, 2017

Welcome to our very first blog at Coed Weddings!! This is an exciting time for Coed as we have lots going on around the site.  The station wagons are all being repaired and new canvases ordered for the yurts for the new Wedding season, whilst the gardens are now being cleared and cultivated to remove the dead foliage as new life bursts through the soil. The barn has had a huge clear out and we are looking forward to sharing our venue and home with our 2017 Wedding couples and new visitors!!

Thankyou for being part of Coed
